Congratulations! Thinking about adding a 599 to my garage too! Drive the piss off of it on the autobahn
I drove the piss out of mine thru your fine state 1 1/2 years ago. I can attest to its top end performance at 160+ I had just bought the car from a private owner in Fl and drove it back to Ohio with a friend. One of the best car memories ever. There is NOTHING like a Ferrari V12 GT. Amazing performance and comfort. Plus it smells like your in an Italian shoe store and I love those I'm now looking at FFs and F12 so mine is for sale. Let me know if your interested in a 2-owner 2010 at a great price.its been well maintained and highly serviced. Still has a couple months of warranty. Peace
I can only say : DO IT !!! This car is stunning. The 550 is fast and strong, but the 599 is from another world. I'm impressed with the difference of these two V12s, only 10 years between the development. Daniel

Doesn't look right with the spacers, like teenager car mods, looks fake and cheap. Sorry to say. Anyway what matters is that you like it, feel free to tell me to mind my own business.
The 599 is the direct successor to the 550 / 575. Yet it looks literally twice the size of those cars. Same goes for the 456 to 612 succession. The V8s as well; starting with the 360. I would prefer less "luxury" features and smaller size.
Hi Adam The 550 is not a small car. But in direct confrontation to the 599, it's frightening how small the 550 appears (or how large the 599 is). So it's not good to take pics with both cars at once. We could try to wash the 599 with hot water, perhaps it gets a little bit smaller. Daniel
The spacers at the rear detroys the line, in my eyes a nogo... In the the front i was never a fan of spacers. But if you like it all is well.
After searching for a few months, I just pulled the trigger myself on a 2010 599 with HGTE. Red, with black interior and 20,000 KM with terrific service history. I pick it up on Thursday and can't wait. Will post a few pictures once it's in the garage.
