I think so too, their car is obviously superior.

 

I think it's part that, and part admission that giving RBR (Newey...to some extent, at least) and equal level with the engine will give them a superior package.

I think it's more admission that RBR has the superior car designing capability on the grid, and giving them an equal power unit will be a death knell to Merc's dominance.

I would love to Hamilton and Vettel in Red together. whoaaaho that would be exciting! Vettel would never let that happen though another WDC in the same team would be like kryptonite to him. Hamilton has already faced two WDC and conquested so he has no fear...

Lotus too are having Mercedes engines and so do Williams. There's hardly any challenges coming from them.

True, but I don't think anyone can deny that RBR has designed the best chassis on the grid over the last 6+ seasons. Make them equal in hp with the best power unit and they will have the best car. Period.

Hamilton is merely saying 'why take away our advantage over our most dangerous foes, RBR and Ferrari?'.

 

Mclaren had their engine and they still sucked.

Red bull have a great chassis and aero so tbh with meet power they would be as good as Mercedes which would make for an amazing battle. They should do it tbh

 

You have no idea how LH deals with anything. Last I checked you arent in his family. His contract probably had ALOT to do with staying to race JB and the fact he had no where to go along with his loyalty to Mclaren. Post your facts.

Yet again, rehashing all sorts of things, like a medley, of the ideas of the twins, the same old tired rubbish trying to disparage Vettel, Ferrari, Kimi, anyone that isn't elton. The reason - to 'protect' elton against the nasty general public who, despite all the assurances of the twins, has made a direct statement showing he has no stomach for a straight fight (even though neither red bull driver is a WDC of course, you know, he eats them up supposedly) if others have the same equipment.

Unlucky don, it's out there, and the funny thing is, in the days of perfect PR, he MEANT to say it, it wasn't a mistake. He knows he is no better than anyone out there, and if they have the equipment he has, they will beat him just like his mate button did.

I'm going to laugh so hard when he is third or fourth to a red bull one-two using the merc engines, Al last as much as when the Ferrari catches up, and he comes fifth behind a Ferrari one-two, red bull 3-4
