    Can someone tell me some information about a f1 ecu? Im looking into buying a car that has one installed on a 2001 360. Thanks in advance

    There are dozens of threads on this. You need to be more specific on what you are asking. ALL F1's have a TCI. There are numerous versions available. When you say 'has one installed' what are you saying? Was it changed? If so, what version what put in?

    It will have the latest software for the Modena. But what you really want is the CS ECU.

    The old ecu's suck. The best one to put in is the Challenge Stradale TCU - it makes the car drive like a whole new beast! I just had this mod done a few weeks ago and it makes a huge difference in the car especially the shifting!~

    The short answer to your question is that the change is a good thing.

    For the record, the '04 TCU has basically the same program as the CS TCU. The CS TCU got some myth tied to it because it is from a CS but it is basically the same as the latest TCU and you wouldn't realize any noticeable gain from a change.
