Should I stop driving it? Should I change the oil, the belts, points, condensers, the spark plugs? What about the air in the tires, should that be changed too? Should I stop using the windshield washer?

Oh, wait, it's a Ferrari, it will be just fine.....

Mileage won't hurt a car: It's the lack of maintenance that will hurt a car. So drive it with any fear.
But if you want to dump your old wreckage, I can pay it 10 k... :) :) :)

Walking around in Monterey last month and peeking in on odometers, I found that the 308's there under 60-75,000 miles were in the minority.

the market is full of 20 or 30 k (km and miles) cars. Yes, there are some that really have just 20 or 30 k km (13-18 k miles), but you don't need to read the Odometer to know they are low mileage cars: they look like new everywhere, also if you raise the car and inspect the suspension and the mechanic. I saw many cars for sale with "just 29 k km" on the ad and when I went to see the car in person I told the owner "I'm not sure if this car has 129 K km: I'm almost sure it has 229 k km..." .

If a car has 50 k miles - 80 k km- (and the odo did not make a turn or rolled back) and was well cared, it's still a fantastic car. Seen with my eyes many times

    ciao

All the cars with lower miles are for sale at dealer lots apparently.

A local guy has 230,000 miles on his 308. He said he had the heads done at 125,000, bottom end is original, I believe. So you have some miles to go if he is a guide. I have 63,000 on mine so it looks like I'm half way there!

Kidding! You just need to go out and do a couple of celebratory redline shifts... Enjoy! :D

    Cheers!
