it appears they're adding stuff over times vs posting everything at once.

I did some work with Spencer a few years ago through the Team USA Scholarship, and he's really really good. he was in USF2k at the time, I think.

I hope he can make it to a solid IndyCar ride, he'd be great for the sport.

Boy, this thread sure has quieted down.

So, like Robin Miller attempting to keep Indy Car relevant (although on a somewhat
lesser scale), I contribute the following news story about Indy Car opening the paddock
to spectators and media during the upcoming test at Road America.

Me thinks they haven't sold many tickets in advance so they're spicing up the deal. And,
why would they close the paddock to spectators and media to begin with? It's not as though
there are going to be tens of thousands of people there.

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it - does it make a sound?

    Sums up IndyCar for me!

The only Road America tickets I saw for sale were a $100 package deal that included four days. That's probably why.

There's no benefit to buying in advance, and apparently no way to do so, and not much interest on a weekday for anybody's test. I don't intend to go right now, but if 100 people show up, I'd be surprised.
$10 of the $20 goes to Justin Wilson, and you can contribute more.

It's actually pretty ballsy to charge admission for testing. $10, $20, whatever, but the
fact that they're donating to the Justin Wilson fund seems well hearted.

Hope everyone that goes reports their experience here.

I'll be at RA tomorrow all day. Our admission was a wedding gift, but we were planning to go regardless. I wonder if there will be a break and some of us 'regular RA track rats' can get a few laps in lol. For others here going, I'll be parked by St John the baptist. -that's the food stand area at the top of the hill adjacent to the paved paddock parking

    nice pics!

looks like they're using the new aero kits? I'm wondering if they'll switch to a low df/low drag setup for RA.

Just read on Autosport that this was a one day test only?

I was under the impression that it was going to be at least a two or three day test.

How many paying spectators actually showed up?
