After 20 years, the website for the long-defunct Pacific F1 team is still active! Twenty years on, Pacific Grand Prix' website is still online | FOX Sports
Woooow, that webpage is like a time capsule of web design. Their 1994 car was beautiful. And was driven by the son of Jean Paul Belmondo. Not great credentials, I know.
Yes, i wish the same thing. There is one of Simtek's cars for sale in UK. It is the car which Jos Verstappen drove in the 1995 Championship. It is in a very good shape: https://www.racecarsdirect.com/Advert/Details/58204/1995-simtek-jos-verstappen-formula-1-car
I think you need to check your internet because all the links work. It's not a zombie site at all. Whois shows this site was registered in 2006 yet I can find snapshots from 2003-2005 which show the site completely different. It seems the original owners let the URL expire and grandprix.com decided they want to keep it's history and brought the website back. This current website "look" has only been around since 2009 but hey you can't expect Foxsport to do any research. Crazy that the website is still alive... I haven't seen the Netscape logo in 15 years! I miss that blue color a lot, it reminds me the long time Player's Indy car from the 90's.
All the MTV Simtek reminds me of is the single darkest weekend in F1 history. The 1994 San Marino GP which saw Roland Ratzenberger killed in qualifying, Senna in the race, and nearly collected Reubens Barrichello as well. I believe Nick Wirth was also associated with Simtek... I also remember, besides them and Pacific, the old Forti outfit which folded in '96
