Hi Roberto, i wouldn't mind changing my black callipers to red ,on my 355 ..... is it a long job to do? BR, Jez
I painted mine red about eight years ago, soon after I purchased the car. As I'm not as mechanically inclined, I had the dealer pull off the calipers for me... I took them to a local shop that bead blasted them and then primed and painted them red. I purchased the white decals & paint stencils on eBay for a few bucks.... the guy at the shop used the decals and then clear coated over them. I think it ran about $150/caliper to paint... a bit more expensive... but fast forward eight years... and they still look as good as the first day that I got them! I have the stencils somewhere. I bought extras when I did mine. I think they were 50 bucks for a sheet of 10. I would have to dig them up. They are one time use stencils. I found them in case anyone is in need of any.
Sorry to tell you my friend but you are wrong. I have a late 94 spider. The script on the calipers are NOT raised. They are on the earlier 348s, not on the later. My 348 spider Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
For the record, if you're searching for after-market decals, in any size or color, for any make of model, I suggest E-bay as a good starting point. In truth, the variety is vast. The 'decal' costs are incredibly low.
Yup ATEs vs Brembos. I want a yellow set. I am going to buy an extra set and have those done. One of the guys at the dealership says they can do each one for about 500 and the stickers like 10 to 20 bucks each? Then the lines and the sensors are the hard part.
