    Purchased in Italy in the 1980’s by a New York car collector the car was entered into the 1987 Mille Miglia.
    A complete restoration of the car was carried out between 1994 and 1997.

    EVENTS
    1997: Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance, 2nd in class.
    1998:Italiano Concorso, achieving Best in Show.
    2004: Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance
    2011:The Quail
    2013:San Marino Motor Classic, 2nd in class and winner of
    The Meguiar's Award for Paint & Finish.

    Very pretty car but that's not the original body, is it? Is restored the correct term to describe this car?

    Correct, Body was installed on the car in the 80's in Italy.

    Why Fantasy Junction and also the ID plate reported it, some years ago, as 915.014 with a 1939 chassis ?

    That was the wrong chassis number and I'd plate, it has now been corrected , with help from well respected Alfa guys, to what the correct chassis is for this car
