Has anyone found a "source" or does anyone have a 348 rear grill for sale? I know a lot of people are doing 348 to 355 rear conversions and I think it may be for this reason. If anyone has done a conversion. To 355 rear lights and just don't need their rear grill anymore would you be willing to sell it?

If these are unable to be purchased, is there anyone on here that can fabricate at least SOMETHING to fill in the space the grill fits in? At least around the lights and in the center? I don't necessarily need the grates across the whole rear, but the rear end looks completely naked without the grill. Any help would be appreciated. I can't post in the for sale/wanted sections for some reason so thanks for putting up with the post here...

As to the rear grill for the 348, it's a special order part from our Title Sponsor, Ricambi America:

    Ferrari Parts : 62113700 GRILL REAR/LIGHTS : Ricambi America

But, appears to maybe be available here:

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/searchResult_one.asp?S=62113700&TM=1&TMo=693&TA=2&TB=41240

    or here:

62113700, REAR GRILL - Scuderia Car Parts

Or, this is a 355 mesh grill that would probably work with minor modification:

    Good luck,

    Mike

Be aware that a lot of the time on Eurospares "NEW To Order Subject to Availability" tends to mean they have no stock and have no idea how long it will be before they can get one, if ever! (It's still worth enquiring though!).

Also, If you get no joy with a member on here having one available, it's worth contacting Eurospares to see if they have a grille available from a car they're breaking, but be aware that even though they currently show three viable grilles on cars they're breaking, they don't tend to update that page very often so the grilles may no longer be available.

Good luck with finding one! :)

Yes, neither of the above companies have them in. I'm sure second hand is the only way to go at this point. And I don't really want to convert to the 355 look. Trying to stay as original as possible

Good for you. I know it's a subjective thing, but I like the standard 348 rear light treatment better than that of the 355. So you're not alone. :)

    Good luck in your search.

If you can find someone prepared to let you borrow a rear grille, it wouldn't be that hard (or that expensive I suspect), to have an engineering company copy it and have one made TBH - It's not a complicated piece to be honest!

Yes I know it wouldn't be hard for someone with tools and know how, but getting one is the hardest part I guess. I'm in Hawaii and I'm almost SURE I have the only one on Oahu haha. Anyway, if all else fails, I will mock one up using wood, and then layer glass and resin over it. It wouldn't be metal, but painted black it would pass as original...

Hi, i have one grill for sale. It has got a minor dent in left lower corner, but can be easily fixed by a "metal man". Give me your e-mail, and i will send you photos of the grill.

    Kind regards, Markku. [email protected]

Josh......if you haven't already, try "www.allferrariparts.com". This is Tom Vail's site for parts, new and used. They just found me a 348 part that I could find nowhere else.

I'm still looking for one, as the person that told me a price for theirs has now blocked my email and stopped communicating. People are funny.

Im still looking for one thats reasonably priced. I know ive seen a few parts cars on ebay and other sites. There are some posted for anywhere between 1500€ and $3000. Seems a bit outrageous to me which is why theyve probably been up for sale so long. Ill buy anyone's rear grill if they can beat $1000!

Only one I've seen on eBay is priced at $2,900. Seems a bit much, imo.

These guys have several for sale but they're all @ $1500 + unspecified postage to the USA: Parrilla Ferrari 348 TS 08.90-12.95 94070739 Rear Grill | eBay

What I will say is that they are great to deal with! (they had a hen's teeth rare 348 HVAC fan speed control resistor for sale which I bought at 1am Friday morning and it was delivered @ 8am this morning! - That's Germany to UK in 4days over a weekend, and the postage wasn't expensive either!).

(Please note that I have no affiliation with the Ebay seller other than being a very happy customer!)

Eurospares have the 348 Serie Speciale rear grill available for @ $1300: Ferrari 348 TS (1993) - Front and Rear Lights: Page 128 | Order Online Eurospares

(but unhelpfully don't make any mention of the end pieces that are also required)

Just wanted to say I am still looking for the rear grill. I appreciate all those who have helped with the search so far. Still cant bring myself to spend $1500 for some welded steel. I guess we will see how desperate I get.

Josh, not being funny but to have one available at all and in view of their lack of availability $1500 doesn't seem like a kings ransom?

    $1500? - How about $2900!

    Ferrari 348 2 7 Motronic 348 TB 348 TS Rear Grill USA Factory 62113700 New | eBay

There's a damaged grill for sale on ebay in the UK. They're asking £1000 +@£55 for shipping to the USA (So@ $1500 and it's damaged!).

It's been for sale for a while now so it might be worth taking a punt with a cheeky bid (chances are they'll reject it and just hang on to the part but you never know!):

Ferrari 348 Rear Grill | eBay

It's funny isn't it, with all the cars that have been converted to the 355 and speciale look, you'd think there would be loads of these grills for sale!

As it is, it's a rare part and so if you really want one, you're going to have to pay big money for it I'm afraid!

BTW: Eurospares have a speciale grill for sale for @ $1300 if anyone wants one (no end pieces though!): Ferrari 348 TS (1993) - Front and Rear Lights: Page 128 | Order Online Eurospares

If you find a damaged stock one or one missing pieces, we can provide the Serie Speciale conversion pieces if the SS look is your thing.

We have templates to make complete SS rear grilles if need be as well....
