That's a mid 80s carrera wheel- See if you can find a 930 wheel- much nicer looking.

Can the paint be cleaned up and corrected with a good detailer instead of painting? Btw, I see the dual out exhaust. I had a 2 our 4.5" B&B and it drove me bat sh*t crazy with the cabin resonance. I switched out to an early Fabspeed that looks like a 2 out, but is actually exhaust and wastegate tips.

Paint on the door and roof shows signs the galvanizing coating has failed. Has to go to bare metal and be painted. So we are doing the whole car. Should have it back in late October.

Car is loud for a 911 , never had a 930 so not sure what to expect. Car is stupid fast.

I am too much of a wimp to keep it.

I have b&b exhaust on mine. Loudness is perfect... Love the off throttle burble.

Stupid fast is what makes it a blast to drive ! Things get really exciting in the rain with the extra cooling on the intake and wheel spin in 3rd. Easier way to find out in the rain if the car has LSD than reading the codes under the hood.

You will miss it if u sell it...

Mike Callus at Rennsport did the trans rebuilt and it has a new LSD in it. I think my exhaust is B&B as it has the B&B headers on it. Car sounds pissed off all the time.

Love the 930, but I am terrified of it. Its done and for sale on FerrariAds and on the pelican message board. There is some debate the car does not have 600 hp running the CIS still.

But Mike Callus at Rennsport said it is maxed above 500HP with the set up as they built it. Whatever the actual figures are, the car is too fast for me. Its cartoon fast, and I don't see a reason to have a car like this on public roads. least not in my hands. :) Going to post the pics from my ad here as they will live on for awhile in this thread, where as the ad will only run for a short time. I have no Ruf paperwork on the car, so we are all assuming the car is a nicely done conversion.

Pics of the car. Whomever did this car used jigs to do the welds, the rockers have ducts for the brakes, the slats are metal, the front fenders have screens in them for rock chips, the front valance is a Ruf part and there is a massive oil cooler in the nose with all the swages in German on the lines. I think this car was done in Germany, but cant prove who built it or when. At $40,000 I don't see it as a bad buy for a fun toy, considering what the 911/30 market is doing.

Nice Ruf. I haven't seen a reflector like that before.

Standard 87-89 rear reflector. Car is an 84 with a (allegedly RUF) G50 5 speed, not the 915 trans axle. Car is an 80s era dealer conversion (NJ or PA?) with lots of neat parts. But not a "real" RUF VIN car. Should be a fun replica.

I think it is the angle and reflection that is throwing me off. It makes he ghost letters appear smaller on the left side, and the H looks to be raised.

That would be NJ for the era, Exclusive Motorcars was the Authorized Ruf distributor.

Should be a RoW car as an 84. Anymore pics?

I am working on the car as I have time. Front brake calipers are sticky. Throttle bushings under the car are making the throttle stick so we have not driven the car.

I HATE these seats and have them out with the intention of finding some stock black 911 or 911 sport seats. The seats say Porsche Motorsport on them and I think they are made by Recaro.

What is a good price for them? I may trade out with someone on Pelican.

Thanks. Added a few terrible pics. Car needs paint and maintenance. Bought it as a fun project. Regular 3.2 non turbo replica RUF with lots of dealer installed parts. That other turbo slant nose I had was insane and too fast for me.

Those GT3 seats will get you good money. Is that a real slantnose or a converted car?

I replied to your PM, but I think shipping is going to be a hassle for both of us on the seats. I still dont know if my seats are genuine or replicas. I just want oem 911 seats for my car.

PM me your email if you wish, and I can send photos of the seats...they are stock from a '77 911S - in white leather, but could use fresh skin, so pick color. I would extend a great price for the seats and reflector, so let me know. Regarding shipping, not sure?

Sourced stock 911 seats for $500.00 and a rear reflector for $100.00. Got to love the used parts supply for old 911's. Stock seats will get recovered while car is in paint. Race seats are going to a friend for him to sell on Ebay.

Pulled wheels off and noticed the ugly black finish was plastic dip. wd40 and a brush took it off. pressure washed wheels and cars wheel wells and under body. RUF Speedline wheels still have original finish on them. Will polish up the lips with Flitz when I get time this week. next is replace sticky brake calipers and odds and ends under the car, new fluids and filters.

Cleaned up the car a bit. Still will get it painted, but it looks "better" now. Cleaned the yuck off the Ruf Speedline wheels. I have no idea why one would spray black canned plastic dip on these wheels. The original finish is in good condition ( The faces are a matte silver paint). I used Flitz metal polish to bring back the shine. Driven the car a few time this week. Still sorting stuff. Got the wipers, windows, flashers, turn signals and power driver seat all working.
