I have been using mine for a year or so, and then one day I pulled into the garage, but didn't see any reflection. I checked the light switch & the fog light switch on the center console. Against my principles, I checked the owner's manual. I couldn't find a fuse, but did find a relay, and swapped that. Still no lights. FWIW, the tail lights are supposed to come on with the fogs; they did, but don't now.

    Any thoughts - hopefully simple?

    Thanks,
    Richard

If i remember there is a fuse for the front fog lights, front hood left side fuse box.Remember you have to turn your light switch to first position first for your fog lights to work.

Thanx, Guys, but it isn't that simple. The tail lights used to come on with the fogs - not now. There is no "listed" fuse for the fogs (that I could find) in the OM.

I'm confused, fog lights won't turn on unless you switch the light position to the first position...at which point the tail lights would come on, regardless of the fog light button position.

Also note that, for US F355s, pulling back on the left-hand stalk with the headlights off will cause the fogs to light for as long as the stalk is pulled back, so you can use them to "flash-to-pass". Maybe this is a factor in your problem?

This is what happens when you go "looking for love in all the wrong places". Outcast reminded me to try the 'flashers'. I did - - and they did (flash). You've got it. The tail lights don't work, so now I'm checking that.

Problem solved - BUT another question. It was a bad-tail light, side-light relay in the trunk, but when I went to swap it with the equivalent relay in the foot well to check it, I found that they were not where they should have been.

I'm assuming that the two relays in the foot well were just swapped by accident, but it is possible that the book has them listed wrong. I wonder if one or two people could check their foot well relays?

On page L-21 of the OM relay "L" is listed as 332 015 013 (15A). (This is the one for the tail lights.) Relay "M" is 332 014 140 (30A). These were reversed in my car.

    Thanks again, guys
    Richard

What year car/model do you have?

I'm guessing you have a later model. The online "owners manual" for the 1997 F1 shows L&M as related to the Injection air pump and Injector Control (respectively) with different part numbers. The online "workshop manual" (1994) lists L and M as identical part numbers.
My 98 Spider has different part numbers, too (according to the manual), but I haven't checked them yet.
All the later model manuals seem to indicate that, indeed, your car's relays were reversed.

    Cheers
    Ian

Thank you, Ian. I have a '96/manual trans. The OM lists 'L' as Injection Air Pump, and 'M' as Injector Control, the same as your car.
