    Hello,

    I am checking if my new 458 Speciale will fit in my underground garage, does someone know the ground clearance (and idealy A, B and C dimensions of the picture enclosed) ? Big thanks in advance.

    What I get on mine (could be off no more than 1/16" to 1/8"):

    A = 5"
    B = 3 and 7/8"

    Both of these measurements are to the bottom of the rubber bumper (which is about 1")

    C = 5 and 3/8"

    Hope these help.
    Maybe someone else will confirm with a second set of measurements.

    Don't know the heights at your points, but according to factory, the ground clearance at master points are 133.6 ± 5mm for the front and 159.1 ± 5mm at the rear

    Thanks abz and MuratC for your answers, but there is a big difference between those values 😱. I undersrand abz you measured your car, might be more accurate data. Maybe another set of measurement to confirm ? Thanks.

    Here's another possible complication. I believe that US Speciales are noticeably higher than Euro Speciales. Mine looks like an SUV so I'm getting it lowered 15-20mm :)

    These points are the centerline of the lower chassis pick up point bolts. This is several inches farther off the ground than the lowest point on the chassis.

    What can be more important are approach angles and departure angles, rather than actual clearance. So the nature of the driveway/ramp must be taken into account. Try measuring by placing a rod from where the tyre contacts the road to the lower lip of the front/rear bodywork to get an idea of the angle. It worked for me.

    Is it easy to find the right angle for the most common "obstacles" you might find along the road? I mean, is it intuitive?

    That has to be the worst I have ever seen.
    How could anyone build such a driveway?
    Certainly not for a car!!!

    That one wins the prize!!! You'd think there would be some building code that would prohibit such an extreme driveway. I guess if you owned a tank you'd be fine. LOL.

    Don't even think my Range Rover could drive up that hill :D And wouldn't even try doing so in my Speciale. Already had enough problems, even got stock on a hilltop at a drive-in once and when I finally got free, I managed to scrap the entire chassis leaving. But again, it's just a car and it didn't brake down.

    By the looks of that guy trying to walk up,
    I think they need to build an escalator.
