    Jon,

Are there any differences in painting the alloy body versus the steels bodies?

The Dino Compendium is a wealth of knowledge, and if you don't have it then as a new owner you'll really enjoy reading it.

By color, the Compendium shows Silver as the second most popular color on Dinos, second only to Red. The manufacturer obviously thinks silver goes well on Dinos....

PS - Sorry for oblique addressing, I don't see your name in your profile

    Hi Scott,

Just bought the Compendium! It will have to travel halfway across the world to where I am before I can read it. Having said that, the silver on the 206 is truly phenomenal!

    Jon,

Out of curiosity, any other car color we could compare this too?

    Just trying to imagine

More progress on the 206. Major differences with 246, but having fun putting something new back together. I took it apart so long ago it's hard to remember all the pieces and of course my photos seem to be missing everything that would be helpful. I'm getting a new wiring harness and I'm suppose to get that later in the week. Just in time before I run out of stuff to do until I get the wiring in. It's looking good for sure!

Is that a white dino in the backround, or just one in primer?

Hello everyone, I saw last week my first 206 live and watching the engine number I discovered that are branded Fiat , it's correct ? Besides the engine number it's very high compared with the chassis number (engine 5082 on chassis 0003xx) it's possible ? Thanks for your answers and for your help.

More progress as I got all the wiring in and started on the interior. I know there will be naysayers on the interior, but after considerable thought as to blue cloth interior and all black vinyl which would be more original I decided against it. The lite blue cloth is available but would need to be dyed to the darker blue which is not available. I also plan to drive the car and didn't want to keep covers on over the cloth. Sooo I went with dark red seat inserts rather than cloth and dark red door panels. I figure it's an easy fix if I ever want to change it. I made an extra set of door panels in Dino Vinyl and I'm going to make a set of cloth seat inserts if I ever get the urge. Everything else will be stock.

Wow - that is going to be an absolute stunner when done, as well as the nicest 206 on the planet. Thanks for the pictures.

    Jon,

Watching the 206 come together makes me realize how different it is from the 246.

As much as I think the head rests are weird, everything else is really awesome. Lots of details on the 206 that the 246 doesn't have.

    Shawn
