    Can it be a Tubi with refurbished inside and re-welded outside ?

    So it's got a Stainless Steel cover tacked onto it? Why?

    The construction looks rather poorly done. The stainless wrap is not unusual. My FabSpeed muffler seems to have a similar wrap. It was cracking in a few places and had to be welded up. The welds in the picture are rough!!! I would not pay $$ for something like that!!!!!

    That's why I took it off.
    Yes it looks like the muffler has had a wrap welded, poorly at that onto it.

    the short welds on the insulation are fine, there is no need to continuously weld the cover,

    it looks substantially just like a tubi,

    how does is sound differ from a tubi?

    It was louder than the Tubi I had installed, so maybe it's another model.
    I think tubi make systems with different noise levels?
    But surely there would be some markings on it somewhere if it were a Tubi?
