    Any suggestions on how to set secondary air pump to pass CA smog. I have two different, but similar, drive cycles. Neither worked after six attempts. Maybe I missed something. There are no error codes. Dealer says has to be driven the cycle, no computer reset. (maybe I should just get a download from VW??;)

    What specifically is wrong?

    Make/model/year is a really good place to start.

    Lack of error codes in no way suggests there is no problem.

    In cali you can be missing one or more monitors on the drive cycle and still pass. It was something like 4 of 6 monitors or 5 of 7 monitors.

    Your right Carl. I had that show up once on smog test and they just pointed it out to me.

    It passed no problem :)
