unfair question considering no one has driven the 488 Spider yet. Ask again when some Speciale owners have had a chance to drive the 488 Spider.

That white one is spec'd up how I would do mine. The only thing with the white colour is with the top up, the roof are broken up a little with the hard top segments, making it look a little odd. Perhaps the best would be a black roof with the white car.
Otherwise, that is almost how I would spec mine up.
I am tossing up between pearl white (Bianco Fuji) and a metallic silver, with black roof, the graphite coloured wheels etc. Almost exactly like your picture. I like it!

Different cars for different goals - the 488 will be the best "car" Ferrari has ever produced (assuming the reliability of the 458 carries over). I was dead set on finding a Speciale before I went to Corso Pilota, but my experience on-track showed me that, for my own purposes, the 458 was the better choice. If you want / need a race car, get a Speciale. If not, then don't.

I prefer my Italia over the Speciale as well, even though I do track it a couple of times a year.

But the Speciale is not a race car, not by a long shot. I cooked the brakes in my 458 in about 7 laps at Assen and the Speciale would not fare much better (maybe 10). Assuming regular brake fluid.

The Speciale is just a little bit more raw and hardcore than the Italia, but still a sportscar. Ferrari roadcars are not built for the track, you find that out soon enough when your skills improve.

Speciale for me. Prefer it over looks (both 458 and 488), sound and I prefer my cars to be rawer.
