Two of the greatest V10's ever made. Coincidentally, two of the best sounding cars ever made!

    Congrats!

Love the two silvers! The stripe on the GTO is cool!

Thanks for the comments. So far so good. I know I'll miss the GTO but hopefully not as much withdrawal as when I traded in my GT3RS and CS to get the GTO.

Congrats on the LFA and I wish you good luck with it. Of course it will be considerably more reliable.

Lol, as I say, I was pulled into the Toyota nexus because my wife drives a Prius (balancing me out I guess 😏)

My GTO was perfectly reliable. I drove her about 3100 miles in about 3.5 years, which given our longish winters, I think, is not terrible. Also got to use her as intended and took her to the track a few times. Gave me a joy and also most people that saw her out there a hoot.

I like The LFA for what it is: a tremendous piece of engineering. I think the engine is light and compact. The whole car is much smaller than the GTO and feels more nimble. The sound is very cool but not in the league of the GTO, I think. Understated, it is a lot less of an "event" driving it, so I imagine I will get it out around town a bit more than the I did with the GTO. It does draw looks as people see the Lexus logo but have NO idea what the heck it is.

Tort, I traded it in at FoLI (gave up a few bucks but hopefully getting brownie points, it was easy and they had the LFA). I don't mind taking a few dollars off the car table at this moment.
Who knows, maybe I'll trade the CGT and super america for a VS and Speciale Aperta over the next few years as I like those as well.

This is a neat story to read. Thanks for sharing! Keep the CGT, offload the SA and get another 599 Aperta. I think the CGT, LFA & 599 Aperta would be the trifecta!!!

Mario, please PM me if and when you might be considering selling your CGT. I'd like to know how many miles she has and the interior color and any factory options if any. I def want to get a CGT and am waiting for the market to stabilize a bit since it has enjoyed a nice spike in values recently. Cheers!

If it went to Fof LI I'm sure Gianni sold your GTO in a matter of 2-3 days. Hopefully it stays with another Long Islander as GTO sightings are few and far between. There just isn't alot of product out there (at least US spec). Good luck getting an F12VS allocation. I tried but not in the cards.
