Here is some more information I have received from Gullwing Motors on the car.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1999 550 Maranello, Euro version, retailed by Wide World of Cars in 1999. 41,000 miles.
Fiorano Handling package, red calipers, power Daytona seats.

Has all of the owner's manuals in the tan leather pouch, 3 keys and 3 remotes, tools and flat tire canister.
Service records for current owner back to his purchase of car in 2010, plus records from previous owners.

In 2014, around 100 miles ago, it had a major service including timing belts and a new clutch, with receipts for this work.
The tires are new, the wheels are excellent.

    Please note:
The "Scuderia Shields" are stick-on aftermarket.
Paint chips on driver's door. Scratches in paint on left part of rear bumper. Remainder of paint is nice.
Macintosh Amp in trunk, non-Factory radio, add-on speakers in foot wells and on rear ledge.
After-market cruise control added, radar detector with controls in ash tray.
Capristo exhaust (rear section of exhaust system). The original Factory section comes with the car.
The interior pieces are sticky. The dash has been recovered, in leather. Remainder of interior is in good condition.
    After-market Carbon Fiber interior trim.
    A/C does not blow cold.

Which leads me to ask... what is the difference between a "Euro version" and a USA version. Is it going to be that much more difficult to get parts for the Euro version?

ffb put a MSW cruse control on the 550 he sold to a guy on the East Coast, it could be that one. All the others are accounted for.

Nope. The person who has my MSW equipped cruise control still owns that car. The picture here also does not show the MSW CC in the engine bay. I also think only 3-4 maranellos have the MSW CC which by the way is working perfectly. Some positive attention has been paid to the Va car in this ad. It has SRI hoses. I see a small gray shrink tubing looking thing coming out around cylinder 1/2 intake runner for example. Is that the SRI fuel injector harness? The prototype SRI FI harness looks just like that. I can't tell by the picture but if so there are a few $1000 in upgrades right there and there could be more? Indicates possibly being well cared for since SRI stuff isn't the cheap way to go.

I think I've seen that car before in the wild. It's local to me by Loudoun County stickers. I would ask FoW or Competizione if they know it.

That's a nice price. New A/C compressor costs $5200 at the dealer if it is leaking.

It says the car has FHP. I thought the FHP was only an option on the 575, not the 550, which this car is. Am I mistaken? Thanks. Frank

Just a question regarding the racing seats listed here.
These are the prices for having your race seats in part fabric or wholly leather and not for the actual racing seats themselves.
    Correct??

Those are not the Sport Seats (Racing Seats). They are simply the Daytona Seats. The 550 never came with fabric seats. They were always in leather on all the 550 seat options.

This 1999 550 is advertised with the FHP option. It was my understanding that the FHP option was not available until the 2000 year model. I'm beginning to wonder if that is true as this is the 3rd 1999 550 I've seen advertised with FHP.

GS- The Scaglietti options were introduced in late 07, early 08 timeframe. The only option I am aware of that was not available until the 00/01 timeframe was the Barchetta wheels.

Well it could have FHP (and this car sure looks like it has the FHP ride height) but the interested parties may desire to know if the FHP was installed at factory or otherwise. The build sheet or window sticker would be useful for that info.

GS, on the optional racing seats there were two options for the inner part of the seats, either fabric or leather. Seen already some cars with the leather /fabric option, it's also visible in the price list.

Ok, so the price was only for the covering of the race seat.
Anyone know the price for the carbon race seats themselves in GBP?

    Thanks!
