This is the "best" I can do, so far, from my sister's wedding. It's a pic of a pic. Not high school, but college freshman. And to keep the music theme, this was the #1 song in 1982. http://youtu.be/vWz9VN40nCA I don't know which is more embarrassing. LOL! And, to get the bad taste out of everyone's mouths, something much more righteous from 1982. http://youtu.be/xL5spALs-eA Think the young man in the top pic would have a chance with a rocking chick like Joan Jett? Neither do I! T
I don't have a yearbook photo, but, I do have one from the day I graduated...It's pretty bad, lemme find it lol
Me and my best friend Nick, still best friends today (I'm on the right). Terrible hair, and I had plugs lol, angry at the world haha And, that summer, we def went and rocked out with Rush in Boston, epic show, he got me into cars (Vanishing Point and I was hooked) and Rush! I think it's the same song? On Spotify it pops up on Will Smith's page so that's why I listed him as the artist, but there are a couple of other featured artists in that song.
Haha Kenny your a bad ass in that picture. Back then all about rush, Boston, yes and skynyrd for me. Still the same today. Your drumming skills are still amazing.
Dude, that was back when life was awesome, no worries, all we did was rock out! Being a grown up blows lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz3qjhO09Lc ATREEEEEEEEEYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Hi Nick...I think they're similar. Smith did it for movie of same name, which is based on an old TV show. IMDB says it was written by Stevie Wonder, sung by Will Smith, with Kool Moe Dee...T
We will have it soon enough Brotha just get back state side asap. That atreyu concert was a good night besides having a torn shoulder and having a 8000 pound man land on my neck in the pit. And I think you made me wait in line for about 3 hours for those tickets. Back when we were awesome and didn't care. Those days are long gone thanks to the ol internet.
I must add that XM radio is awesome and the quality of music on there, especially some forgotten tunes always seem to pop up, and you would never hear it on regular radio. At least in the Sacramento area regular radio is awfulllll! Same thing over and over even the classic rock. But can't complain too much am/fm radio, one of the last free things in life.
Wife had free trial of Xirius & to me they seemed to have a relatively short rotation on the 60s & 70s channels. Not as bad as local stations though. Can't go a few days seemingly without either Dream On or Rocket Man. The rock station has been on heavy Tom Petty rotation, which is not a bad thing...T
Sort of Fleetwood Mac meets mellow Swedish-Euro pop. I liked this song best among the ones I listened to on YouTube, it was a bit less mellow than others and had a cool old Volvo in the video. http://youtu.be/8EreqrpjJNw T
Speaking of The Mac, my fellow LT roomie can't seem to quell the Stevie storm lately...It's on CONSTANTLY in the barracks here lol
