My first Goodwood Revival by Arthomobiles

    Hi guys
    After all those years spent looking to pictures on the net, I finally crossed the channel to go to the Goodwood Revival and it was even more awesome than I thought.
    The Special Ferrari Lavant Cup was very good, the 6 Cobra Daytona a moment of History, the Tribute to Bruce McLaren well deserved but most of all, the atmosphere was extraordinary

    I tried to report all that on this big big page

    Excellent, Nicholas, fine photos. Your web page is very good, so much ambience, like being there.

    For information, the two gentlemen in bronze are Mike Hawthorn and 'Lofty' England.

    The gentleman who was in the back of the McLaren Mini-Van was Gordon Coppuck, former McLaren designer (M16, M23 and M26).

    With Andy Wallace is Stuart Graham, former motor-cycle and car TT race winner.

    Great pics Nicolas as always. If you can you should also come over for the Members meeting in Spring. Much the same atmosphere and feel as the Revival, but a quarter of the crowd.

    Jack: well, I'd like to for sure, but it is really a big trip for me, and very close to Chantilly and the Mondial / IAA Motor Show

    Matthew: well, once a year is an absolute maximum for me. My wife was not so happy and I had to sacrifice the Finali Mondiali, meaning I'll miss the 599 TdF :)

    Michael: a shame we missed each other but there were a lot of people.

    This is me. We went to MM instead of Revival this year and are planning to do the same in 2016. Unfortunately, March weather isn't quite as pleasant as September's. :)

    What happened? The right front looks a bit bad for ware. This unique chassis has had so rebuilds ,repairs etc. This looks relatively minor. Just another nock in the belt. tonga's crew

    I did not see the problem with the Breadvan but it was once again like new two weeks later for the Dix mille Tour

    Aha, so that's who was in the Plexi Daytona I spotted on the main road!

    We took two Daytonas, a 365 BB (sold, and going back to Verde Scuro next year) and a restored 308 GTB Vetro. :)
