    We will be at the Broken Spoke at 9PM

    Friday night the 6PM show at the Saxon Pub is a great Happy Hour, then we will check the base runners and see where to go from there.

    Our group will be in and around the Biergarten (T6-T7) like last year. Watch some practice at T19 then move to T6 thru T9 and then T10 thru T11 where you can see the DRS in Action! We did the start at T1.

    I see the Ferrari Challenge has been dropped and only the Porsche SuperCup will be running along with the vintage stuff.

    water wings.m I am keyed up tonight. I have a QP3 Maserati due in at 2am and I have to be at the airport at 5:30 . am going to be soo tired. but I sleep on a plane.

    Current Weather Underground forecast for the F1 cars:

    Practice 1 - 76 degrees, 51% chance of thunderstorms
    Practice 2 - 81 degrees, 69% chance of thunderstorms

    Practice 3 - 73 degrees, 76% chance of thunderstorms
    Qualifying - 75 degrees, 88% chance of thunderstorms

    Race - 70 degrees, 63% chance of rain

    So almost certainly wet qualifying, and perhaps the race as well, and rather cool on race day. :mad:

    I may be wrong, but I don't believe they've ever completely cancelled an event due to weather.

    They may not go out much, but I'm pretty sure the lights will go out on Sunday regardless of what's happened on Friday/Saturday - "The show must go on!"......

    Hopefully there's a little grass around the place now - Otherwise it'll be just like any other day at Silverstone! ;)

    I have some pretty good forecasts from the NWS, it's going to be ok.

    Going out at 3PM today to see what I can see at Pit Walk.
    Valeria has Sunday tickets in Will Call.

    I do need Sunday Parking or Mitchell we can carpool in the Caddy!!

    Everyone should grab an Austin Statesman off the news rack as they have the F1 magazine glossy insert on the whole event.
    It's inside yesterday's or today's paper..

    Shell stations have a free promo card with a weblink to the Shell and Ferrari partnership...pick up one of those too!
    If any one runs across Dr. Lisa Lilly, PhD, let her know about the party tonight at The Broken Spoke....
