UK FF Meet

I will try. Unfortunately Sundays are my least free days. I'm committed family wise, kids' rugby & hockey clubs and general ferrying around!

I am also a provisional but won't know until next Thursday if I can make it due to kids commitments. I might have to come for the 12.30 but leave after an hour or two. Will confirm as soon as I know.

I can come for 12.30pm or earlier but would have to leave by 2pm due to family commitments. Not sure how that would fit in with the meal?

 

Not sure either - I'm listing is as over 10 people now so the reservations team there want to talk to me tomorrow to confirm things. I'll update the thread then. Regardless come along and do some tyre kicking st least

Orangery - Danesfield House

As we're now a large party, Danesfield are offering us a private room but at additional cost.
Dinner is 28 for 2 courses or 33 for 3 courses
Children menu at 10 for 2 courses
100 private room charge on top, but for that we get our own wait staff etc. Not thrilled about it, but would rather keep the venue than try and find an alternative at this point. Plus splitting it between is isn't really a big deal.

Menu is a choice of 5 options per course, and includes roast dinner options. They'll want us to confirm menu choice for the in advance.

I know this has snowballed a bit from a pub lunch, so can you guys confirm you're ok with this and I'll pay the room deposit today.

Whilst I appreciate all the effort you have clearly put into this on our behalf I'm not sure a formal sit down lunch is appropriate given we have a number of youngsters etc and are really meeting up to admire each others cars and put faces to the sometimes rather obscure forum names. The cost is not an issue but personally, giving it a bit more consideration, a pint of shandy and a bag of crisps might be more suitable to the slightly ad-hoc nature of the gathering and difficulty in gaining individual commitments which without would put you in an awkward position regarding the hotel.
What do others think??????

Any suggestion on another venue welcome. I did think of the Rose and Crown in Virginia Water / Thorpe - not far from Maranellos, and decent food / big car park.
