Are you missing the rubber strip that goes between the 2 panels?

Got a photo of what it's supposed to look like? The solid grill is new to me... I'll check the red GTS Saturday.

    Tim,

Looks like I am missing the two gaskets (#26 in the attached graphic). They're not too expensive so I'll get them ordered. Thanks for noticing.

Thanks. We'll see if you add a solid grill to your yellow car now... :)

With the challenge grill my 355 always runs 190 degrees F.
While the painted grill looks great I would switch back to the challenge grill for needed ventilation.
These cars have a very hot engine bay.

Another great day working with the cars. I was able to install the new ashtray to replace the older one that had a crack in it. I had this one refinished at stickynomore to match the rest of the lower console parts done previously. Really great to have the whole console at 100% having the interior smooth is one of the Joys of life with the F-car.

    Long story...

Today I decided to pull my original challenge steering wheel that I had previously installed in the yellow Berlinetta. I purchased that Momo wheel before getting our challenge car.

The challenge car did not come with the right steering wheel so it made sense to restore it back to proper running gear.

So that left an Alcantara OMP wheel available to go into the yellow Berlinetta.

I'm happy with the fit and love the yellow centerline... Of course I'll keep the airbag wheel to keep the car complete as well.

Love the OMP wheel. The laser etched vents are due back in later this week. Then the yellow Berlinetta will only have one or two items left on my list... :)

    Robb...

Do the white marker lines on your 3 HVAC dials light up green with the lights on?

Yes. They still light up green. I refinished those dials myself although sent out much of the other interior pieces to the experts.

Got my laser etched vents back and in the car yesterday. It's great to see the car in this condition. Only have 2-3 small things on the list.
