    Thanks, as is this stunner.

    The combination of a 4 Cam/4 Valve/V12 with 6 DD Weber Carbs is a unique and ultimately unsurpassed setup in automotive history. I can see how it would gain FIA approval in this spec. Incredible

    Moving on from Alpine to Pirelli as far as OEM equipment goes, this iconic Ad featuring the 345 Series tire was being featured in Italy circa 1985 presumably aimed at Countach owners, amongst others

    Joe great work in finding the info. A friend bought the DD from Simon. I haven't drove my DD for 6 weeks until this morning, just in time for this thread. Got it back from Evans after he reworked the exhaust. I am amazed every time I drive it. The car feels as fast as it sounds. At full song going through the first few gears it's such a beast. The DD is in it's own league incomparable to any other cars I've driven.

    A lot of comp tests; was there really any comparison between the QV DD and the Testarossa of the same period or was the Countach in a different league altogether?
