I was never a LH fan. But you have to give him his due. He is a world champ and deserving of that title.

Luck? That's when preparation meets opportunity.

All I know is this . . . the harder I work the luckier I get.

And in the end, there's always a little bit of luck involved whenever great things happen, no matter what they are.

If there's one thing, he's lucky that his teammate is a pushover and loses his focus time and time again.

And let's not forget he took a gamble changing teams, the same team he had been with for most of his life. It would do Nico good to change teams. A change of atmosphere can do wonders.

I agree to an extent, but I do not think Nico is a pushover at all, we can only use teammates as a measure.. Michael Schumacher's when Nico was his teammate..

    Qualifying
Faster qualifying time: Rosberg 41 / Schumacher 17
    Poles: Rosberg 1 / Schumacher
0
    Front rows: Rosberg 2 / Schumacher 1

    Races
    Wins: Rosberg 1 / Schumacher 0
    Podiums: Rosberg 5 / Schumacher 1
    Points finishes: Rosberg 39 / Schumacher 31
    DNFs: Rosberg 7 / Schumacher 15
Best race result (inc DNFs): Rosberg 35 / Schumacher 22
    Ahead in two-car finish: Rosberg 22 / Schumacher 15

    Championship
    Overall points: Rosberg 324 / Schumacher 197
Seasons finished higher in standings: Rosberg 3 / Schumacher 0
    Highest championship placing: Rosberg 7th (2010, 2011) / Schumacher 8th (2011)

Come on Steve, that was after Micheal came back from his retirement...Hardly the Michael of the Benetton/earlyFerrari years...
And Rosberg is quick but he can not handle the pressure and Hamilton knows that. Lewis made the best use of this since Spa 2014...Not that he needed that but unfortunately he even got help from Toto and Nikki as I guess their desk in the factory graces a glass with Nicos testicles ;)

Hahaha...:D to be honest it surprised me how long they left them to go at each other, I mean lessons should have been learnt by the hash Ron Dennis made of things when Ham and Alonso were teammates....2 alpha dogs...it usually ends in tears, this is another reason I rate Nico he certainly does give it his all in that respect, to beat Ham.

It is easy to let them drive as long as there is no danger loosing any of the Championships. Remember Prost/Senna...One of them was winning anyway, no matter how often they crashed into each other...Letting them race makes Toto and Niki look like real sportsmen but the word "team order" was mentioned as soon as the first race that was not running good for them (Singapore).

You're right, pushover is probably too strong a term to define nico. I do believe had he at least once done that to hamilton it would be the end of it. Hamilton knows he's not going to do it to him so he pushes harder and harder each time.

Nico should have started pushing to the left as soon as the lights went out, but he didn't. That's the only way to go into the first turn.
