    Hello from Germany,

a lot of serious threads here these days. And since I am busy with my music this evening, it just came to my mind, I could ask you the above question. I post it here, since I feel most comfortable on this forum, but of course it also applies to owners of other classic Ferraris.
What is your current favourite music, you listen to while driving your Ferrari 3x8? I know, the favourites can change from week to week, but the basic style remains.
And I know, exhaust and induction noises. O.k., but, what's the second best?
    I begin with me:
I am a 70s progressive rock enthusiast - US or Britain- and Hammond organ player, but from time to time it may also lack the organ. These days I'm crazy about listening to this song while driving on an empty german Autobahn:

    http://youtu.be/GBN3BtdIr0Y

Or to this great cover version of a legendary Britain rock song covered by one of your today's most versatile female rockstars ( at least contains a tiny bit Hammond organ)

    http://youtu.be/MYJzF4IBXrw

I'm curious and look forward to hear from your preferences.

    Best Regards
    Martin

There is a series of CDs called Drive Time...Autobahn, Pacific Coast Highway, Blue Ridge Parkway and, I think, Route 66. The music tends toward classical, but that's ok with me.

Aside from that I actually listen to 60s and 70s radio rock and big band because it has a lot of energy and doesn't require a lot of attention to enjoy.

There can only be one: "Born to be Wild" by Steppenwolf. You can time your lap so the chorus comes on as you're redlining through the gears down the main straight...

There's only one driving song that does it for me. Robin Williams impersonating Elmer Fudd singing Bruce Springsteen's "Fire".

Heavy Metal, like my old band. Powerwolf from Romania, Nightwish from Scandinavia, Deep Purple, Montrose, Thin Lizzy (like in the movie "Rush") you get the idea. Basically like "The Hidden" without all the drama! Thats me at 3.30 minutes in!!!! :p

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad52RbO-BEc

P.s. I dont condone even scaratching a Ferrari let alone destoying one for a movie, at least they used a fake one in Ferris Buller, this apears to be several cars damaged, another favorite scene in in "A Star is Born" with the daytona. They show a real Daytona crashed and upside down hope it was a real crash and not manufactured for the movie!!!

    HAAAA

I blast the music in my US GT4, my new car is coming without radio delete. I hope the exhaust is loud enough!!!!

The previous owner left one CD (I know, my radio isn't period correct...) in the car, and that's the opening song of Magnum PI. I use it to have fun with friends who get in the car for the first time! The rest of the time, I'm one of those "engine sound is music to my ears" people, so I just open the windows and enjoy the Ferrari soundtrack!

    Hey Alberto,
I asked about musicians and not heavily distorting amplifiers or effects units :)

And I forgot to mention in my original post, that I have of course upgraded - invisible- the original audio sound system of my 308. The factory equipment is hideous.

    Best Regards
    Martin
