Reminder, this Sunday we have 2 events the same day: Rise & Drive https://fuelfed.wordpress.com/ Add the other event in Evanston also on the 27th and you have a really busy Sunday. Weather will be great according to the forecast. And on October 4th LFS has it's event: https://www.facebook.com/Lake-Forest-Sportscars-297478880197/timeline/
I just noticed the IndyCar test at Road America will be open to the public tomorrow. Weather will be perfect!! Elkhart Lake's Road America, Inc.

woah! nice! much better turn out than rise and drive! Might have to go to that one instead of rise and drive on the 18th!
The Rise & Drive events can be very good. They also bring us events like this and the Ronald Mcdonald House supercar concours. It seems the Ravenswood Event Center is becoming the center for interesting car events. We know the REC owner has an amazing collection himself, so why not join with the Rise & Drive organizer who also has an amazing collection!! I guess we are lucky in Chicago. Now if they can only pull off that Northerly Island Concours next year Image Unavailable, Please Login
Interesting news, The Richard Driehaus Auto Collection (Chicago Vintage Motor Carriage), currently at 700 S. Desplaines, will be renovating and moving to the Marmon and Hudson buildings at 2222 S. Michigan, on Motor Row. They are working on convincing them to have public displays during the annual McCormick Place Auto Show.

Hey Everyone. To go to bring a car to Coffee & Classics do you need any prior registration, or can you just show up? Thanks!
I would talk to the organizer before going to get a good spot. They had a nice real Cobra 289 at the last event on display. Cobra's are welcome!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alright thanks, but theoretically we don't have to be a Fuelfed member, and we could just show up right?
Not if you want to show the car in the 2 streets they block for the event. It used to be open for all but the show got very popular that they now reserve these spots for members. I think it's a cheap fee. If you are not a member, you can park anywhere obviously and just walk in.
AMAZING turnout at Coffee and Classics today! There was a 275GTB, a 250GT, and much more! I'll post pictures as soon as i get them edited!
