I have a few more pics of the Bentley Buccaneer from the same location; will share them later. Unfortunately there are no new photos from the Jerudong hangars and garages. I have been searching on the Internet for a long time but with no results. Only Paolo Garrella's photos and videos are worth to see.
As promised (with a little bit of delay) two new pics of the Bentley Buccaneer bodied by Heuliez for the Royal Family of Brunei. I wish you all a great weekend! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Unfortunately no new pics have leaked from the famous garages situated in Jerudong. One site I can recomend (hope it's not a repost) is Paolo Garrella's web page: PROJECTS BY YEAR - Cars in Life - Paolo Garella (Brunei section). He even has a YouTube channels where he talks about the Brunei cars: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6Nt90b8IwAu_e_0Q_9iNzA - Go check 'em out!
Hi! I guess, after looking at these pictures of the Buccaneer, these cars are still alive and well! Where do these pics found? This thread needs to stay alive! I want to hear from the Bruneiheads too!
Hi guys! I'm sorry I have been absent for this long time. Let's keep on going with fresh and new pics from Brunei... ENJOY! In these first two pics you can see the Bentley Buccaneer bodied by Heuliez in a very dark garage (maybe the famous underground garage in the middle/between the big hangars?). The red car behind it should be a Bentley Java while the wagon in front should be a Bentley Java Estate or maybe a Bentley Spectre Estate which is an estate version of the Bentley Continental R. It is thought to be called Spectre Estate, but it could very well be called the Bentley Sports estate car, I am not sure. If anyone recognizes any of the other cars surrounding the Buccaneer, please write down a comment! Let's go on with a pretty SPECTACULAR PICTURE found on the Internet. I don't think it has been published before. I think no words are needed!!! :O Image Unavailable, Please Login
Let's go on with some newer cars. Honestly I do like the older pics more because in my honest opinion they are more fascinating... ANYHOW here it is a black Ferrari LaFerrari that participated to the 1st Borneo Kustom Show (Google it) which took place in Brunei. It seems that it belongs to the Royal Prince of their beloved Sultan. I am not sure if this one is the same black LaFerrari spotted in the Jerudong area (pics I posted here a few months back). If it is not the same car, this must be the FOURTH LaFerrari in Brunei. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Let's head on with some pics from a car show in Brunei which took place Yayasan at Bandar. The cars apparently belong to Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. That Ford GT appears to be the only one in Brunei and it belongs to another Royal Family member which also happens to own the Mercedes Benz McLaren SLR. The matte black Aventador belongs to the owner of the LaFerrari. Thats symbol on the black Aventador is the Royal Insignia. A cool site where you could find lots of info and pics about Bentley's and Rolls Royce's made for the Royal Family of Brunei: BENTLEY SPOTTING
UPDATE: I found out the white LaFerrari belongs to HRH Prince Abdul Mateen (born 10 August 1991) who is the tenth child of Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei and his former second wife, Mariam. Source: Instagram Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Via mail? Yes, try here: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Istana Nurul Iman Palace, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei (obviously LOL )
I found a tiny aerial picture of the hangars where the cars are supposed to be kept within the Jerudong area, close to the Jerudong Park. In the aerial pic you can recognize that long J-shaped building and that strange building shaped like a rugby ball (I don't know how to describe it) which is clearly visible in that on-site old picture (marked with a YELLOW STAR). In Mike Sheehan's article the building marked with the RED STAR it is described as: "Between the eight large buildings was a glass-walled showroom with three McLaren F1s, a 288 GTO Evo, an F50 and an F40 LM. The F40 LM was black with a black leather interior, red piping, air conditioning, and power windows. m[...] Underneath this building was a windowless theatre filled with rows of RHD F40s, 288 GTOs and other exotics." If you look on Google Earth (search for Jerudong) you can zoom even more and you can see that the floor between the hangars matches with the floor in the old scanned picture. To be exact: two squares one in another. In case you missed it, here is Mike Sheehans's article about the (in)famous collection: https://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/article.php?reqart=SCM_201103_SS Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does this really work? I mean,is my mail going to reach the sultan? Because I am going to send him a mail, car related.
