That car is not available anymore.
It changed hands to a german Ferrari dealership and then got sold not far from the asking price within 2 weeks.

For the vintage Ferrari crowd, who are more interested in manuals, the price tag is cheap.
One can't even find a rust-bucket Daytona for $500k these days....

And to think in February this year, someone posted a link on this forum to a 599 manual for sale in France for 120,000 euros, which had been hanging around for weeks. Nine months is a long time in Ferrariland.

Just this past summer, a dealer near me had one and sold it for 180k. That was just before that black one sold for 600k at auction. Red on tan, he was not very happy with his sales staff needless to say.

At the risk of dating myself as a dinosaur, I remember when one could get a nice, used 275 GTB for $5000, a new Daytona was $28k and the spyder was $32k. I was aghast when, eventually, used 246 Dinos were $50k, and Daytonas $150k. All the numbers ratcheted up until the crash of 1990, and then it started all over again.

Rare Ferraris (low production versions) will appreciate better than just about any vehicular investment. And even when the market drops, there will never be $150k Daytonas or 120k Euro manual 599s again.

I shouldn't have to say this as a 40-year vintage guy, but it's obviously difficult to go wrong with one of the thirty-ish manual 599s.
