I already have the cap, the plate and now I ordered the Magnum shirt: now I just need to have mustaches, become 6' 4" tall, younger, better loooking, with a big muscular body and then I will be the perfect copy of Magnum P.I. ... ciao
Found this USA '89 sale literature, I believe it or not, it was the 1st time I saw it in 15 years so I'm pretty stoked...It's going to my document folder for my '89 328 GTS. Wasted some 15 bucks! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Before ebay, FerrariChat, and the internet (as we know it). http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q-sponsored-algar-ferrari/307694-diy-5-minute-ring-nut-removal-tool.html EDIT: I still have the receipt; paid $212 in Nov 1993 from Algar Ferrari. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It doesn't count as valid for "stupid things", because it can actually be useful from time to time: I have the one for the 328, and did use it. Rgds
You're rite, even though the online version is more handy. Just need a thread to post this Ohh, this 249/82 is the most suitable one for my 9/82 made QV and its not available online I think.
I would like to know where I can find one (online) of that wiriing diagrama manual for the 308 Carbed? any Idea? thank you very much ciao
I'll have a look in the "catalogue of all Ferrari publications" by Sauzé, to see if one was printed indeed for the carbed cars? Rgds
That one certainly does not qualify for "stupid things", considering the magic of the electrical circuit on those cars. Will it be enough to find all the electrical gremlins, now THAT remains to be seen? Rgds
With a "caveat" that some are for "euro" cars only...I'm not familiar with the 308 prints, but for the 328 there is an "US version" electrical diagram, and an "euro" one. The electrical circuit is interesting enough without trying to apply the wrong diagram to it! Readers, take care. Rgds
This is print 303/84, likely an euro version, the US version should be clearly stated on the cover like the one posted in #44 and other documents of the same era.
Oh agreed Steven, no big deal. BUT as it is not written "euro version" on the cover, accidents might occur... Rgds
Thanks, Steven. But the QV is a bit different from the Carbed. I found something for the "I" ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
Purchasing fuel hose supposed to be ethanol blended fuel safe at triple the cost of reliable, well-tried older fuel hose only to realize now, that it's beginning to leak after one third of the time. ( compared with old fuel hose in my Alfa ) see also my recent fuel hoses thread. Alberto and Bruno; I hope this qualifies as REALLY stupid Best Regards Martin Image Unavailable, Please Login
I stumbled across this video. Is it wasted money ? I dó like it, somehow. Okay, not 308 related, but Ferrari related (is it a 355 engine ?) thought it might be fun to share here. After about 1 minute the sound gets interesting !! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iquPhTaI390
Albert at least you know you have a problem I wonder if there is a 12 step program? "Hello, my name is Albert and I buy stupid stuff for my vintage Ferrari addiction." I have a bought a small Ferrari rug, some Magnum PI stuff, some hats; and I just got a shift gate for the heck of it.
yes, the only good news is that I know I'm mentally diseased... But I'm not looking for a doctor... ciao
