Weird. They would have had to change the rear quarters to use the 355 deck lid but it does appear, from the crappy pictures, that it has 348 mirrors. An engine or interior shot would clear things right up.....or even.....putting what the car is in the ad. Go figure. I don't even entertain ads that don't start with the year, make, model and price like normal people used to do when the entire world wasn't trying to pull a fast one.

+ The tail lights point upwards and the front hood vent is a black 348 vent, not a colour coded 355 vent.

Which would be harder to do? Take a 348 chassis and bolt on 355 bits? Or take a 355 chassis and bolt on 348 bits? I think better pictures or a VIN is needed to settle things.

PS: These things sure are pretty in white......sigh......

That is a scam. They are using the car as bait. I emailed and talked to them today. Run far away.

    1. Who the hell sells "My 1992 Ferrari" with no model name?
    2. Why would one go to such lengths to try to make his car--his Ferrari, no less--look like something it is not? I can understand if you like the quad taillamps, but the whole F355 body kit is just over the top and in vain. You can't even hide the different duck tail design.

As already posted - It's not the owner of the car really selling it, it's a scam, so the exact details of the car were not that important to whoever put the advert on the site.

So what's the difference between liking the quad tail lights and fitting them to the car and liking the 355 body panels and wheels and fitting them to the car?

Probably hinting at the idea that the quad tail lights are considered by many to be sort of "iconic" on the mid-engine V8s from the 308 (hell, even the Dino) all the way up to the 430. Lots of people whined that the 348 was "breaking" with traditional style when it diverged from that. Much like people complaining about the same thing on the C7 Vette. I think 8500's comment meant he could understand wanting that "iconic" FCar look, but that this car has been taken to the point of trying to be something it isn't.
