The day it was delivered, which was also the day that the toddler handprints started. I'm constantly cleaning handprints off the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the info and feedback. Thanks also to the other posters for their endorsements. I'll make a note of his contact info.
I also remember like it was yesterday when I went to take a look at the 348 I would eventually buy. I went with a friend, the owner tossed us the keys and said 'have fun'. I am surprised we both actually fit in the car. He was 6'6 and 400 lbs and I am 6'2 and 250lbs at the time. These pics were taken by me with extremely crappy Nokia cell phone back in 2005 when I first saw the car. My friend also took a video or two of me driving it, I have them somewhere also. After our little 5 min drive I was sold on the car. I drove the car back and did the deal with the owner. *I was too scared to keep driving it in such busy traffic as the car wasn't mine yet, so we drove it back to the owner* Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pics my Brother took a week later when it arrived. Pics are in his garage. I was not there to collect the Ferrari off the back of the transport carrier. I was still in Brisbane, flew in the next day. My Brother picked the car up on Sunday morning and drove it around all day with his mates. 10 years later, friends still think he owns the car because they saw him driving it around all day when he picked it up for me. I'd like to know more about that car. Looks like it has aftermarket seats? Since it's dusty, did you get it for a good price?
The day I done the deal. Had driven to Germany from the UK on Friday night after work. Got to small village just outside the Nurburgring at 3am. Met up with 5 of my buddies who had travelled there that afternoon. In the morning I got up early and drove to Bonn which took roughly 40 minutes. The dealer did not open on Saturdays but met me there and opened up as I had come from the UK to see the car. Car looked worst for ware but I fell in love with it straight away and we done the deal. Drove back to Nurburgring and hit the track in one of their Suzuki swift track cars. Tiny little thing, you could drive the whole track flat out almost. Had an awesome weekend. Drove back a couple of weeks later to collect the car on a trailer. The car hadn't been used in 10 years so spent a good while just getting it usable. I love it more and more every day. Here are couple of fantastic days when these 2 beauties arrived home: 85 308 GTS QV (on Dec 2013) & 86 412 (on June 2015), both still in the stable. Cheers! Ruben Image Unavailable, Please Login

On the day I collected My 348 TS, half way home I stopped off at My friends house for a cup of tea and to try and get My right ankle working again (The throttle pedal is so vertical it made my ankle ache at slow speeds - Still does if I haven't driven the car for a while!: "Hence why I was driving so fast Officer - To stop My ankle hurting!". My old FIAT X1/9's used to be the same!). It was a lovely, warm sunny day and I had to drive 300 miles home with the hard top on the car because at 6' 2" I can't drive it with the top behind the seats (I did wonder how many people saw Me driving it home and thought: "Fancy leaving the roof on on a day like today!"). My friend liked the 348 but said she still preferred her Mini (the green one in the background). TBH, having driven her Mini (and having owned two Myself), I have to admit that they are as much fun as the Ferrari is! Driving the Ferrari makes Me smile - Driving the Mini gives Me a fit of the giggles! Image Unavailable, Please Login
