    Again, this is the same car used in the studio promo image with Nuccio Bertone when it was new (& also featured in the video).

    Looks like an HLA (1987) car.

    Not really. Around the time that the Downdraft debuted, that was considered a cool new color, and Ive lost count of how many I have personally seen in the metal. Yet still, it was a special-order color so its not as prolific as the standard colors. Of course, red was the predominant color, followed by white, then black.

    Wings. Another question, I have the small wing on my car, its a 1987 model. What was the thinking behind the large and small wings. Were the small wings used on later models, if so why? Was it a change in supplier, due to costs or other reasons? Dare I say less drag than the larger wing?

    I think the big wings came first (used on LP400S without end-plates then on LP500S and early QVs) then I *think* they discontinued working with the original supplier.

    I daresay the smaller wing would afford less drag, but IMHO the big wongs look more purposeful and angular like the car
