freshmeat, are those Sport Cup 2s?
You can get it for your tires here: Tred Wear Letters - Raised White Letter CUSTOM TIRES Lasts for a very, very long time. I think the 2 years I had them on, only 3 letters ever fell off in total and all I had to do was re-apply replacement letters and they were good as new. Color doesn't fade either because it's some sort of galvanized rubber. Enjoy! I see Scuderia09 wore you out in the other thread. Persistent & delusional little bugger isn't he hahaha.
Cool. I see they say they're not affiliated with any tire manufacturers, but that doesn't seem to stop them from printing out manufacturer names/logos. Yes, like hitting your head against a wall. Thought I was talking to a troll, but he's been around for a while.
Oh ya, when you place the order you have to request the letters in an order that would otherwise not be associated with the manufacturer lol. So if you want Pirelli, you'll have to ask for something like "Repilli"
They are 20" HRE P47s not ADVs, I will never put ADV on any of my cars. I sold the HREs to another fchatter so that I could downsize to 19s instead and have more tire options.
Thanks. I really like them and the overall look (but wouldn't do 20" myself so I understand your move). Enjoy!
Any particular reason? I have experience with HREs personally, but not ADVs. Simply asking out of curiosity. Thanks. By the way, sweet Scud
Overpriced, stupid heavy, questionable quality control. Ordered two sets of wheels in the past before both turned out to be horrible experiences. First set was for my R8. Arrived w defective, leaky valve stems. Best part was how two wheels (passenger side) had different pocketing layouts than the driver's side. lol. Other set was for the Gallardo. ADV like to call it "Man offsets" but that translates to us mere mortals as "f up your fenders". Rubbed like crazy even after shaving the fenders and raising the car, ultimately ended up pulling a fender. 10k garbage that look great in pics, but ultimately geared for miami-style-bottle-popping people who just want to flash and dance at the clubs. jmho. Hopefully, they've improved since but I'm not taking that risk ever again because why would I when HRE has never once done me wrong after a decade and 8 sets of wheels?
You are lucky =) another fchat member F430addict has his car on 4x4 ride height coz of the "man offsets" and his order is more recent than mine were.
I agree. The best experiences that I have had with an aftermarket wheel company were with Fikse and HRE. And the quality of the wheels are out of this world. I have a great set of 19" HRE wheels for the 360/F430 and I just have them sitting in the basement (I have BBS F430 center lock wheels on my 360) because they're just too good to part with. If I get an additional 360 or F430 I'll put them into use. Wheels that light and strong that fit so perfectly are something worth holding onto.
OK, i'll play! Keep them coming boyz (and girls)... Lucky to have the other one as a more civilized daily/date car... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
