From what I see on TV Mecum Auctions are American Muscle auctions not exotica auctions. Good place to get a bargain.

New Zealand car, imported for a quick sale, 65k miles (more than 100k km), auction sale with no comeback, no way of interacting with workshops from its past for any dodgy repairs, that's a very solid price. You could buy a no stories UK RHD full history car with half the mileage from a reputable dealer with a warranty and all bits done for less than that six months ago.

    $92k plus fees isn't much of a bargain for a 92 with 35k miles.

This is also the worst time of year to sell, but great time to buy.

That car wouldn't last a minute even on eBay at 100k in my opinion. Was a really nice spec and looked to be well kept. 35k miles is nothing.

When the Fed waves the wand, the pigs begin to scatter.

The ex NZ RHD 575M F1 price was appropriate given its NZ history,
which the buyer seems to have done his research on.

    Oops - the fourth car is actually a 2003 575M F1 and not a 2000 550 Maranello

    x2.

Even if the market was/is slowing down, 92k is still a steal.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

The ex-New Zealand car that sold for £70,313 all-in at Silverstone Auctions last month is back on sale at Justin Banks. At £89,995.

P.S. I would like to nominate JB for some sort of prize for their not-in-the-least-bit-irritating Flash website that is virtually unusable on the iPhone yet when viewed on my Mac has enough bells, whistles and indeed chirps to keep me amused as I make my way laboriously through the schoolboy-ish copy.

Maybe the similar but much lower miles car at JCT Leeds isn't so overpriced after all? :)

    Ferrari 575m Maranello 2dr £119,950
