Trickle charger for 599

Any suggestions about the most efficient battery maintenance charger for a 2007 599 ?

 

I just bought these two items for mine although my factory charger still works fine.

High performance 8-step charger for 220V:

Just take the Ctek only and place a notice in the car to prevent you from driving away with the charger still attached (if you really believe that this necessary) .

Most simple approach would be to permanently fit the comfort connect eyelet provided with the Ctek device. There are various options for that, in particular near the factory socket in the boot.

Not sure the 2007 has a port for a factory CTEK. They became standard in 2008 MY.

 

Would this fit a 612?

Perhaps the connection came with the Motronic update ?

I have a nice ctek I don't need.

Daniel- I believe it did. US SN 156938, or that may be the universal serial number for the change.

 

When the charger is connected and you turn on the ignition, you get a warning signal in the display.
So the software is optimized for the charger.

When you attach the Ferrari Battery Maintainer into the port on F430s then the Dash illuminates a Battery Charging Icon and disables starting so you can't drive off with the charger attached.

Is the 612 the same way?
Does it use the same connector with a "U" for an outline?

Do you have a photo of the charging port?

That's a 3 pin when the CTEK is a four pin so they are not compatible.


Ferrari has upgraded their battery maintainers by adopting CTEK's latest 7 stages of charging by using a Dongle.
