That it is. Everything is done as far as the design, people in place, scale model, prototype and production facilities and we are currently building the prototype engine. Funding it all myself until we secure and investor but it is very exciting!

We received a great email over the weekend from the trademark office. We now own the rights for the name MANHATTAN for automotive manufacturing!

Your business plan preview says the prototype was scheduled to debut in Manhattan during the summer of 2015.

    What went wrong?

No investor. Right now I am funding it all myself. We are still moving forward with what I can afford until we get an investor lined up.

When the Mack Brothers decided to incorporate their business in New York, they called it they called their trucks Manhattan.

Why did you choose that name for a luxury car?

Throughout history some of the wealthiest people in a world lived in Manhattan and it is also the center of the financial world. Each car style will be named after a US city and Manhattan is first.

Thank you. It is a Rolls Royce mixed with a Bugatti with American flair. The idea is what would Duesenberg be today if it was still in business. I am not talking about retro but a progression while still using Art Deco themes.

Is the v16 a 2 valve with push rods?

The prototype engine that we are working on right now is a pushrod engine. For the production engine we are looking at both a cam-in-block layout and a dual overhead cam. There are pluses and minuses to both. DOHC engines cost more to produce and then you run into packaging issues due to the engine's width.
