I know there are some tool kit experts on the forum so would really appreciate any input on these two tools rolls. They are both supposed to belong to a 308 QV.

Are they correct and right for a QV?

Both have Finochi press studs and rolls are similar apart from one has the single pliers pocket and one has the double pocket.

Both have Polytools marked tools but the combination spanner is missing from the orange handled set which is also missing the smaller flat bladed screwdriver.

One has orange handled screw drivers and the other has amber handled ones. And one has the 'emergency' window crank.

The pliers are the same with red handles and a chromed appearance.

First one Is correct for an early production QV (Polytools Tools, not "Kravm")
Second one has screwdrivers typical of a carbed car, and the carbs tool to boot...

Utema brand wrenches also ok for a QV. Trying to attribute exact tool brand/styles to particular year/model is an excercise in futility though. Ferrari was never that precise. This based on the many used tool kits I have sold. Top kit looks good for QV based on my experience.

Cool thanks. Am I right in thinking the single pocket plier roll is the later type and the double pocket for the pliers is a earlier type roll?

I think someone with the knowledge should make a specialized thread for the 308 tools. Whit good pictures for the dirrerent screwdrivres and wrenches. early carbs, late carbs, injected, QV etc. I'm also presently shopping and very confused. There are many sets for sale and all listed for 308s. But all different with prices from very affordable to totally crazy.

Plug socket with T handle or not. Size etc.
