Specialized ECU Repair, ecudoctors.com has completed their 355 work around with their Immo Off. (It joins 456 & 550 models.) I installed mine yesterday. The most complicated tool required is a good knee pad, and it probably takes about two hours to install the 'work-around'. It is not cheap, but you won't have to push the button an unknown number of times waiting for "chirp, chirp", or wondering is your fob battery still good.

It's not a cheap fix, but you don't have to send your sole method of starting your car to some far-off location wondering if it will get lost enroute. If you get one, and think the directions were written for idiots, blame me. I proved the initial directions were not idiot proof.

I'm thinking about this too (only a matter of time). Just stopped by Ferrari of Tampa Bay to order an extra fob, only to be told you can only get them in a three pack , and since I had no documented PIN number, I'de have to get that card too. Plus install and programming, it was in the 1500-1700 range. As a new F-car owner the silly fob is the only thing I really hate about the car, and makes me sweat every time I go to start it. And as stated I have only one.
