    Hey Guys,

I pushed the button on my key to open my trunk this morning and it worked like a charm.

However, I got home and tried to do the same thing and it wouldn't work. I also tried the button on the driver's side door sill and it didn't work either.

Any brilliant ideas on how i can get my *%$&#(@^$ briefcase out of my trunk? Is there a manual release cable? Perhaps a known fuse that blew?

I'm all ears if anybody else has experienced this gremlin. Thanks to all.

    Wolf

Look in your owners manual or download one from ferraridatabase.com and it will tell you where the back-up cable is located.

Center console, the rear two section tray pulls straight up, you'll find a black looped wire. Pull it towards the front of the car and the trunk will pop up.

Rob- No, I meant the one you downloaded. Download a copy of the OM for your smart phone and PC so it is available next time.

There's a procedure where you can reset the trunk release by locking and unlocking the car 3 times with the key fob.

See if that helps- It was something used on my 612 once...
