Since these cars can be in the same ball park price wise, lets say assuming similar history, condition, service
history and miles would you rather have:

    a. CS
    b. scud
    c. 430 3pdl
    d. 458

Depends, are you buying as investment, to collect, or to have fun and drive?

Personally - I agree, I'd go with Kate!

Fellas, I've had PLENTY OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN, so you guys argue over Kate and I'll take the 458...Red and a Spyder if possible.

Get any of those cars and you can have a different 'Kate' every night if you like!

As far as the cars go, 458 is the best car, but I think the scuderia is the most collectable as it has the maniac speed and style of the CS with better reliability (for a start - a chain, not belt), sounds awesome, drives like mad, and a bit more 'dangerous' on the edge. My 458 is soooooo good at everything, it's almost difficult to have a scary fast drive

If you think all that separates you from Kate is 250k, you're delusional.

    458. Rosso corsa with race seats. Second choice is CS

And you guys can keep the upton. She would have trouble anyways with the racing seats

CS is the most collectible. Built in far fewer numbers than the Scud. 1,300 vs 4,000
CS is raw, and best sounding, and beautiful
458 is beautiful too, but still depreciating

Given these 4 I would pass. I could never warm up to the 360/430 body style.
Secondly, while I love the 458 body style, I could never get past the last of a manual.

Go with the scuderia. I owned a 458 for 6 months and sold it...great car performance wise, but just too soft, refined and digital feeling. A bit of a bore unless you have an open stretch of road, but it does make for a better daily driver. I bought a scud after selling the italia and am absolutely in love with it. I was also considering a CS, but other than collectability and looks, the scud just does everything better and still doesn't sacrifice that rawness quality. It is also more reliable. A 430 3 pedal is also a great option if you're really set on a manual. But the scud's "superfast" F1 transmission is just so much fun that I don't think you'll miss rowing gears at all. More enjoyable than any DCT transmission by far. I also test drove a speciale, and still found the scuderia to be more thrilling.

CS or 458 as I find the looks of the 430 an absolute mess.

For investment, 430 3-pedal, CS , and Scud all seem to be hitting comparable numbers in asking prices. Of those, the Scud probably is the most fun to drive with best performance on the track.

For pure performance, 458 is a no brainer as the evolution of things good in the Scud and CS.....but it's not done depreciating, so really were not comparing apples to apples.

I'm not sure it's fair to say all of these cars are in the same ball park. There's overlap in pricing yes, but that's because there's a wide range of prices depending on options and condition.

    CS for collectability
Scud if you are actually going to drive it.

In my biased opinion, scud. Tons of fun to drive, nearly as fast as new supercars, and just started to increase in value. CS values have already popped and the 458 is still depreciating.

Maranello has yet to do a better rear end treatment than the Scud.
