    I bought the '90 348ts on BAT this afternoon. Looking forward to getting up to speed. My first Ferrari!

    Congratulations, Wendell! Looks like a great car that has been mostly well cared for throughout its life. If you want a fairly modern car that still embodies the heart and soul of Ferrari, the 348 is it! The 348 is pure, unfiltered sports car, which means most owners are real car guys who are happy to help one another. I wish you many happy miles with the car.

    I know you'll get lots of advice so I'll keep mine short: from your posts on BaT I gather that you don't want to do your own belt change, so get the car over to Norwood. ASAP. You may be able to wail on that engine for months or even years without any problems, but the down$ide of a broken cam belt means the risk is too great to find out. James at Norwood knows those engines backward and forward, so have him go through the expensive bits with a fine tooth comb so you can enjoy the car without worry.

    Again, welcome and congratulations. You are now a Ferrari owner! I hope we will have the opportunity to get our 348s together at some point in the future. Those Cali guys shouldn't get to keep all of the Stoogery to themselves. :)

    Great news that you got that car, looks real nice. My 348 is my first Ferrari after many other brands and I am loving it and know you will have a blast with yours. Bet you can't wait to get it home. Best of luck and welcome to the group here, a great bunch of people. :)

    The 348 is a great car and it won't take long to get up to speed with the help of fellow F-Chatters and a knowledgeable mechanic.
