You still plan on getting the Batronix software or staying with what you have? (what is it you are using now?)

    Having fun here.
One thing I did notice from modified files I have is they just did a % increase to the master maps across the board leaving behind all the drive-ability or target maps.
I also seen they raised the percentage of the open loop maps for a closed loop tune meaning they were using the "shotgun" method of tuning. LOL

Yes I got the Batronix software, it helps in editing but no silver bullet
Still need to get in the trenches, locate and ID maps
Winols is very very good for that.

My main goal is to do the 5.2 chip, these 2.7 ecu's are just a tune up to get up2speed
Have a dump of the 5.2 also that looks quite similar.

Maybe I should have taken up growing tomatos instead
    :)

    Tim,

I've known Felix for the past thirteen years. Tuning and modification is his specialty. Yeah, there's some bravado in those videos I posted, but it's all in jest. He takes it all very seriously. He spent five hours with my car on the dyno until he was happy with the tune, careful that it wouldn't be harmful to the car in any way. He got some good results with my car and he's demand along the east coast having tuned several CCR Challenge cars.

If you look at the other thread I referenced, you'll see how he's refined his software to achieve better engine adjustments. When there are a lot of cars to be supported at an event and they have to recruit Felix and his crew, I know my car is being looked after by the best.

No Doubt Barry I know he's one of the best and nothing like time served doing it. I would never be close to what he does.
I'm just a thick skull pollack that likes the challenge. Best thing I get to combine 2 of my favorite things, cars and hacking :)

Yes I do have Mad Cow ADD LOL

I did 2 chips levels. one a little better one more better with 8000rpm limit.
Both run with no cel's and more seat of the pants feel. I have not dyno'd either

Waiting on feedback from a couple that have the chip.

Wow i would love to try this in my 348. Im guessing to swap, ita pull the old eprom and insert new? Not sure how much extra timing could be added, but some small gains could be had with minimal risk without dyno testing and monitoring knock and egt.

Hi Tim, how is the progress on this project?

Should we setup a go-fund me page to help expedite the process :)

Any chance the 348 2.5 would benefit from your expertise? mine is a 89. And thanks for helping everybody!

    LOL, This thread is confusing.

Thus my suggestion of setting up a gofund me account so we can "help" get this
project to completion. The man is investing time and $ into equipment after all.

As most of you. I am in a good position in life where money has no real meaning except how I can help support my favorite charity's.

This is done as a hobby to relax my brain from spinning in the gutter, some folks do crosswords I like to hack around with code.
At this point in life I dont want to start another business, too much stress and not a people person. I am not human just a bot from another planet visiting here for a while to gather data on primitive life .

If you know how to pull the chip from your ecu I would be happy to look at it and juice it up a bit to get some feedback on how to improve it.
New chips would be required as the chips are only writable 1 time so if you dont like it put your old chip back in. I have a few dozen of them.

All I am doing right now is the 348 2.7 ecu and the 355 2.7 ecu with more emphasis on the 348.
