Feel better Verell!
You've been able to help so many of us - myself included - I only wish there was more we could do for you but, for now, I send you my best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Best wishes for your recovery Verell. Do all that PT the Doc's tell you to and you'll be driving your Ferrari sooner than later!
I feel your pain Verell. I just spent 8 days in the hospital for prostate surgery and another bout with a nasty blood infection. I came home to find that my son repaired all the scratches, dings and dents and repainted my newly acquired 2009 Ford Focus SEL (pre-beaten) winter beater without my knowledge. Now it looks too good to be a winter car! Get well soon.
I whas there also in 2007. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-discussion-not-model-specific-sponsored-algar-ferrari/146743-my-ferrari-saved-my-live.html Luckely for us we survived. My medic told me 1 of 3 dont survive the first attack. After 1 stent in front of my hart, another whas put 1 month later in the back of my hart. He also told me 1 person of 3 want survive within 1 year. But knowing you a little bit (only from F-chat), you will not give up so soon. For me my attack did come right out of the blue...or maybe not. Blood tests showed access of cholestorol...and my stubirness did not let me do something against it. Now I know better. Take my pills against cholestorol and for my blood liquidity. I hope you want have this stubirness and listin to what the medic tells you. Get well soon, Verell ! Regards, Guido
Get well soon Verell. While the pills will almost certainly help, it's lifestyle choices that will make the biggest difference e.g. what and how much you eat and drink, how much exercise you take and most importantly, whether you smoke or not. Pills can only do so much. Take care. Paul
you will not find many people paying such attention on his health as me... Never smoked, never dronk alcohol, never eat unhealthy, did always on sports... The reason for my cholestorol increasing figers has only to do with heredity. My body makes cholestorol itself. With the pills everything is under control ! Guido
Could be worse, could be raining... According to my father, the physician, the only way to get in shape is a mean nurse. Good Luck!
So sorry to hear about the MI. What a lousy way to spend the rest of the year. Here's hoping for a quick recovery from me, too. For a little humor, the original posting title reminded me of one of my favorite newspaper headlines: Clairvoyant society meeting postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Steve
Get Well Soon. Some of these "milestones" are great reminders to not take life for granted. Enjoy what you have now.
