We're on the same page just looking at it from different angles. I agree it is more difficult but it's not impossible. There are things everyone can do to reduce spending. Never ceases to amaze me when I work in lower income properties. People may be struggling to get by but they all have large screen TV's, full cable, video games, latest iPhone that came out the day before and nice rims on their fully loaded SUV...many times it comes down to priorities.

Well since you keep on bumping, I felt obligated to add something:
I heard through a reliable source that reza has now found God, in anticipation of finding God later when in jail or in more permanent structure, and is now ready to run for major of Toronto.

Although, I'd throw him some more rope just for the fun of him obviously going to use it, I will say according to published docs, he no longer owns CTM: he sold it months ago and its 'HQ' moved to the UK.

However, anything associated with Reza is suspect

You are correct, this is of course happening all over the world.

But we need to separate the "cost of living" to the "cost of housing" in Toronto. The cost of living is still quite affordable. (ie Food, taxes, insurance, etc.) is still at relativelt affordable levels compared to the average income of Toronto citizens. (Yes taxes are high, transit is crap... yadda yadda. This is common knowledge). Wages have moved up considerably in the last 15 years to meet the growing cost of living.

The cost of housing, is much different. The cost of housing especially in the Toronto core has outpaced every imaginable asset by far. It has also outpaced the living wages of its citizens. This is what happens when a city starts growing rapidly, and attracts international people.

Its not accurate to compare Toronto to London, New York, its a much smaller scale and smaller population. However proportionately it IS quite compareable.... all 3 cities have international business, international people and are the centers of their respective countries. This will automatically call for a high housing cost. The same is happening in Toronto now, its just been a few years delayed as we are a young city now evolving to this level. ( There is another argument of low interest rates fuelling demand, but this is a separate topic altogether.)

Very soon, if not right now; "regular" working class people will not be able to afford homes in the city. This is the same as London, New York where the majority of people own/live outside the city, and the rest will rent inside the city.(not own). Most working class live on the outskirts, such as Liverpool, Manchester, Brooklyn etc. And commute into the city. Unfortunately Toronto has a poor transit system, so this is becoming almost impossible now. Another reason for rising housing costs, as transit is eliminated from the equation so people have no choice but to live next to their work.

I am fortunate to own a nice house, with a large property (green space) in Toronto, although I bought this recently the cost was quite high. And I believe in a few years someone of my current age would not be able to afford the same house again if prices continue to rise.

All you Torontonians like to think so, don't you? ;) What's funny is the rest of the country makes endless jokes about Toronto resident's self-inflated sense of importance! :D

(By a cost of housing escalation standard, wouldn't Vancouver be the centre of the Universe, er, country?)

What a sketchy website. Poor grammar. Poor punctuation. Poor people who fall for this s***, but alas, if you aren't smart enough to figure it out...(as Brunson said haha "you're Patsy!")

Remember - In the olden days bad grammar was considered a mistake. Today, in the Internet age of scams, bad grammar is used to filter the "clients" to increase the hit count.

People too smart to fall for it initially are weeded out, the dumb ones are concentrated so that they can be better handled individually by the scammers. Quite brilliant in an evil way.

CEO rapped over drug price hikes charged with securities fraud

Seems Reza should study this j@ck @$$ to better understand how to skirt the law while still being a fraudster.

But, JA's always will get caught sooner or later.

Also read last week how Shkreli bought the WTC's single production album for over 2mil.

    Karma, ill spent

    Why?

Unless there is new information you wish to share, a 'bump' just for the sake of a bump in this thread is really pointless.

I've already tried to get him to explain without luck, no reason to keep bumping the thread until new info or discussion.

This jerk is like Teflon. Nothing is going to stick.

Stop bumping for no reason. No one's going to "get him".

It's unsatisfying, but nothing's going to happen.

    That's all, folks.

Perhaps you should close this thread for now, and re-open if someone has any new information.

any bump [and I'm guilty] only results in insults to an already known questionable character, aka, Reza.

I agree that it should be kept open, but bumping without info [like my current post] serves zero towards his perp walk.

He'll get enough rope and we'll be posting his obit soon enough...let it rest. Canadians are trying to post here and they are too polite/nice to say 'STOP'.
