I wonder if Nico does any of these types of interviews? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhQbxCTwAi4[/ame]
Uggh ! Hamilton has heard the classic Stirling Moss story, and put his own spin on it. I'd like to interview that Policeman
How do you know he doesn't? That was my question. If he doesn't, then no wonder Mercedes pay Lewis so much more.
It's not worthy of a separate thread, but looking at Hamilton's tweeter feed (more or less near the Justin Bieber pics), calling Brundle a "hater" because Brundle was disappointed that Lewis didn't attend the awards, left a sour taste in my mouth. Best, Sammy
wait he skipped autosport awards to be on jimmy kimmel? i guess he's just paving his exit from f1 into the music business.
Dedicated to Lewis - The world's most 'I will be a celebrity' obsessed F1 driver https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reRiDLWPRxE
Ok how about Kimi then. Some drivers dont crave attention or twitter counts. Nico obviously has a 'life' and doesnt need to be as exposed in the media.
I'm just thinking that while Elton might be a good driver, when he goes into music, it takes more than the song to be good, it takes style and persona. Elton hasn't got one. Particularly going into gangsta rap or whatever, the good acts have style and a persona that suits them, Kanye, 50, etc. Elton looks like a wannabe, not the real deal, so who is he going to have buying his music?, the hardcore of Stevenage ain't that hardcore!
His fame ensures he has surrounded himself with the right folks. He has made a concerted effort to be known. His association with his ex girlfriend, I would think opened alot of doors into the music world. I dont think he will be lacking assistance to be honest.
Yup. What irritated me was when he said '' it's like the Oscars of the motor racing world, but it's really boring''. Sigh. Echo Chris Harris. Elton makes it really hard to like him. I've followed ch on Twitter for a few years now and he's quote the Lewis fanboy. So his comment speaks worlds.
To a certain degree, yes. But swapping one for the other? Kimmel type shows are there purely to promote yourself. It's just strange. Agree with that list.
It's hip-hop ; ) Drake is a huge hit and he is a total puss, so I don't think he is that far off...of course he is also kind of small and has nothing to really rap or write about. I see it being a huge failure. Reminds me of when Roy Jones Jr. tried to do music. But whatever, life is too short - he should give it a shot. Can't race cars forever...at least at the highest level. They have the WEC for that ; P
Drake is a puss but he's genuine. Kanye is the biggest ego maniac, but he's genuine. Lewis' biggest issue is that he doesn't know what he is, so he tries to be everything and everyone...and definitely doesn't come off as being genuine or sincere. He's got many buddies in the music biz, he can build a palace made of money, so his music career taking off or not will not make a difference to him. IMO, when he retires from F1, he'll move to LA, big ass mansion with studio in it, try his hand at singing, when no one buys/turns up, he'll instead have many rappers/rnb singers record at his studio and he'll collect the executive producer credit. nice job if you can have it, if you ask me.
Wait a minute. You think kimi kept a low profile partying with his entourage and strippers all the time? Lol I'm not saying doing PR like this is a must but if your team mate is and the boss of f1 is constantly extolling the virtues of how he's an ambassador to the sport i personally think nico should sit up and take notice. The world is more connected than ever and if nico is doing interviews it's not reaching people like me.
Yah I agree - not genuine which is why he isn't my favorite. Also agree - why not take a shot? What's to lose? I also believe the more pundits criticize his behavior and focus, the more determined he will become to blow them off...hence skipping the autosport awards, etc.
