A very romantic photo taken by Staffan Enhörning in 1978 on Orsis farm a few kilometers from the factory. The car is most likely the very rare A6GCS PF Coupe. #2056?/Jan

More likely 2057 outside Corrado Cupellini's garage in Bergamo in 1977.
2056 never moved from Maserati old wharehouse since getting back there after the 1954 Giro di Sicilia, until Ermanno Cozza, in the 1980s, convinced De Tomaso to finance its restoration.

Jan, not really sure about my previous post correcting Staffan. Staffan does not remember where he took this photo. He thinks it might be a photo of a photo. No doubt this is the 2057 body with its original two tone of blue paint, but the location is uncertain and the date might be considerably earlier than 1977. I am exploring into this matter and I will report. It might take some time. Point is that, as Staffan said: "Franco we are just getting older."

2057 chassis with new A6 GCS Spider body was then renumbered as s/n 2086.

Well, if thats the case then what chassis is now under the body of the blue body #2057?
Or does the blue body in the photo still exist?
    Ciao,

Original body of 2057 is now on chassis 2070, Franco's car.
