Hey guys.. Just picked up my new to me Grigio Titanio FF... Loaded up with options, took me a while to find the right new daily driver/FF and found it !

Have a few questions, however. I notice at time the idle can sit at 1k rpm and produces a very loud hum from the exhaust (i'm no stranger to loud cars, exhaust) however its borderline too much bass/drone ? This was the same thing with exhaust fully plugged with stock baffle format and open baffles which it is now.

At times the idles will drop to 600 and get nice and mellow with still a nice humm. As soon as I turn on the AC the revs will jump up to 1k and get more bassy. Its nice and I love it however at times for a daily, sitting in miami traffic etc it may becoming annoying.
Even with the AC compressor on at certain times the revs can drop to 600 at idle.

I have no idea why it does this, how or when it decides to do this, any thoughts?

Also, I saw on a video when someone unlocked their car the headlights turned on. I cannot figure out how to enable this, its not in the menus of the car. I come out of my beach club late at night and its pitch black in the members lot, all of my cars have had this feature and im surprised this car doesnt? I did however see a video where it did turn on though, so curious as to why I cannot find it. Coding of the key perhaps?

Lastly, I cannot get my homelink working... annoying

I was however pleasantly surprised that streaming bluetooth works with my 6plus. you go to the AUX setting and just tap your iphone, it then starts streaming your music :) I couldve sworn people said the car didnt have that capability

Anyway cant wait to log many more miles in this car, hope to really grow to love it!

    Very pretty car!

Can't tell you why it does it, but our FF does that idle shuffle as well. The deep rumble is just sort of what it is. Many find it too quiet for that matter. I think it's fine most of the time, and can be a bit much in confined spaces where one might prefer to not be the loudest thing by an order of magnitude.

I can't recall what the lights do when I unlock at night. I do know it has never been the headlights that would come on, mostly just the interior lights. But that's just from a failing memory. Maybe it could have to do with what setting you leave the headlight switch in: if you leave it always on, or in the auto mode, when you turn off the car, maybe when you return and unlock, it'll turn on the running lights. Just a guess...

Homelink has worked well for my remote controlled garage door. Reread and carefully follow the Homelink instructions. I seem to recall that it was a pain to program, but I eventually got it to work. Haven't had to fuss with it since (3 years later).

I gave up programming the Homelink in my Ferraris, they are simply unteachable. I hooked a small garage remote on my Ferrari keys and be done with it.

The idle thing is a FF thing, it doesn't happen on my F12. When the car come to a stop, the idle stays at 1k, it will drop back down to 600-800 whatever after a delay. Almost seems like the car is anticipating the next movement and kept the rev ready.

Like Eric, I never really pay attention to the lights, might do it next time I drive to see.

Fantastic car! Not that I'm biased or anything :) (wife drives a Titanio FF)

re Idle: This is normal, close your baffles when in stop/go traffic

re Homelink: Read the homelink manual carefully. Assuming you have a variable/roaming frequency system... you need to press the learn button on the garage door opener, then press and hold the homelink button in the car then press the handheld g-door opener 3x. If this isn't working you may have reached the limit of # of remotes. (this happened to me and took forever to figure out). If this is the case you need to do a reset of the g-door motor to clear all linked remotes (refer to g-door manual). Once you've cleared the memory on the g-door you should now be able to program the homelink but you will also need to re-program all your remotes.

re headlights: Look for "Follow me home" function in your FF manual.

    Hope this helps.

press unlock twice in a row, doors unlock, and the headlights will also come on - same for both F12 and FF
