GT3 RS

I know we cant predict the future market but would you porsche aficionados say buying this car at 100 over sticker is a dumb move? I am dying for 1 and am close to pulling the trigger for around 300. I just think if I Keep low miles on it I won't get hurt too bad and may could possibly make money 7-10 years down the line..... Thoughts?

 

My dealer told me that I'd have to pay $130k over sticker...

 

I saw the 3 x Mr Purples at Beverly Hills Porsche last week and I thought the UV was awesome in the shade or falling light. However bright light it didn't look as good.

Also I preferred the black wheels which was contrary to what I thought from photos.

Anyone with access to a ROW 991GT3 RS with the Club Sport package, could you tell me if the rear roll cage is welded in or bolted in to welded on mounts?

GT3 RS 4.0 keeping a European 964 RS and a Carrera GT company at Pfaff Porsche in Toronto.

I guess I should have grabbed that $170k Cdn 2010 RS last year, similar car for sale at Pfaff last night for $240k.

Question for you guys. The 997 Gt3 RS has a multitude of colors. Green with black wheels, orange and black, orange and white, ect.

If you go on the Porsche Website, they only have Orange And Purple.
Does the 991 Gt3 just offer less variations?

Or were those all 997 colors custom ordered from the factory?

Heard they sold that black 4.0 RS for over $400k CDN.

 

Porsche didn't offer orange and green in the 997 RS. Blue, white, and lava black "grey" we're stock (optional up charge cost on lava black) then there was PTS. The orange and green was available as an up charge on the 996 RS.2 (2008?)

 

997.1 RS (2007,2008) stock colors were white, black, orange, green, silver...no PTS (Paint To Sample)

997.2 RS (2010, 2011) stock colors were grey, white, blue.....several PTS (Joe has shown many here)

As far as the 991 GT3RS and PTS, you can see the Porsche website for available colors. Ultraviolet (purple) has been discontinued.

Racing Yellow works great on the car. Is there any 997.1 or .2 RS in Racing Yellow?
