I was thinking about the PT-19 colors and thought that I would mention that the blue and yellow color scheme was a pre-war livery, 1939-ish. All of the PT's that I saw during the war were painted silver overall, even the Navy had some all silver PT-17's instead of the yellow livery.
The Stinson is a good example and well done, too. here in the Seattle area there are several vintage Stinsons that are nicely restored. Neat old airplanes.

I've never heard of a CT-33... can't find it listed anywhere.

The Canadians flew both Lockheed T-33As (on loan) with Canadian markings and Canadair license built T-33 Mk 3s and CT-133s. No such thing as a CT-33. The T-33/CT-133 was called the Silver Star, but only officially. T-Bird to everyone else. Sort of like the F-16 Fighting Falcon that everyone calls a Viper.

The Canadair built T-33/CT-133s were souped up with RR engines.

They were a little nicer than the US T-33s.

    Kurt,

How often do you fly the T-Bird?

    Regards,
